Automotive cybersecurity is not only about selecting the right security technology. OEMs and suppliers also need to fit that technology into existing vehicle architectures, engineering processes and resource constraints without adding unnecessary integration complexity.

VicOne, an automotive cybersecurity solutions leader, and BlueBinaries Engineering, a global automotive engineering and digital solutions and services company, today announced a partnership that brings together VicOne’s automotive cybersecurity products and threat intelligence with BlueBinaries’ engineering expertise and implementation support.

Through the partnership, BlueBinaries will support customers in evaluating, adopting and deploying VicOne solutions, including xCarbon, xZETA and xNexus. The collaboration is designed to give automotive and mobility companies not only access to cybersecurity technologies, but also the automotive engineering expertise needed to apply them within their existing environments.

From Cybersecurity Requirements to Deployment

For OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and mobility companies, introducing a new cybersecurity solution can require teams to evaluate how it fits their vehicle architecture, engineering requirements, existing workflows and onboard resource constraints.

To bridge this gap, BlueBinaries will help customers evaluate, adopt, and implement VicOne’s cybersecurity portfolio based on their specific technical requirements. By bringing VicOne’s specialized cybersecurity capabilities into existing engineering workflows, customers can address cybersecurity requirements without treating security as an isolated layer.

The collaboration is intended to help customers:

  • Vehicle requirements compliance to Cyber Security Standards - Evaluate security capabilities based on Vehicle E/E architecture, technical requirements and resource constraints.
  • Reduce Integration effort - Bring cybersecurity into existing architectures and engineering workflows while minimizing unnecessary re-engineering.
  • Implementation Support -  Provide cybersecurity requirements along with automotive engineering and implementation support and enable mobility solutions move towards deployment.
  • Support cybersecurity and regulatory requirements - Apply relevant VicOne solutions in support of ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155/R156 requirements.

The partnership covers the United States, Canada, Asia-Pacific, the United Kingdom and Europe.

“We are pleased to partner with VicOne to make its cybersecurity products more accessible to our customers,” said Kishore LM, Managing Director of BlueBinaries. “By combining VicOne’s product capabilities with BlueBinaries’ automotive engineering expertise and industry experience, we aim to support effective product adoption and address our customers’ evolving cybersecurity needs.”
