VicOne (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Max Cheng), a subsidiary of Trend Micro Inc. and a leading company in automotive cybersecurity, today announced a strategic collaboration with Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Hiroaki Shirota). The agreement focuses on joint research and development of insurance and services aimed at addressing cybersecurity threats in the evolving landscape of connected cars.

The two companies will work together to develop products and services related to in-vehicle infotainment (IVI), vehicle security operations centers (VSOCs), and electric vehicle (EV) charging. These offerings are expected to be launched in Asia, the EU, North America, and other regions.
